Deck overview

This mono-red aggressive deck is commanded by Vaan, Street Thief and focuses on the Outlaw batching mechanic (specifically Scouts, Pirates, and Rogues). The primary game plan is to deploy cheap, evasive attackers in the early turns, cast Vaan on Turn 3, and begin connecting with multiple opponents on Turn 4. Combat connections trigger Vaan to exile cards from opponents' libraries, converting uncastable cards into Treasures while casting spells you do not own to place +1/+1 counters across your entire outlaw board. As the board grows and Treasure stockpiles accumulate, the deck transitions into a lethal threat around Turn 6 by resolving high-impact finishers like Angrath's Marauders, Swashbuckler Extraordinaire, or Coercive Recruiter. The deck maintains steady momentum through impulse draw and theft engines such as Breeches, Brazen Plunderer and Grenzo, Havoc Raiser, while utilizing utility lands and evasion equipment to push damage past opposing blockers.
