Deck overview

This Golgari deck pairs kindred swarm synergies with lifegain triggers to build an overwhelming board. Commanded by Blech, Loafing Pest, the deck generates Pests, Insects, Snakes, and Spiders using token producers like Scute Swarm, Ophiomancer, and Beledros Witherbloom. Every lifegain event—fueled by cards such as Essence Warden, Bogwater Lumaret, and Lifegift—distributes +1/+1 counters across your entire kindred army. As the board swells, counter doublers like Branching Evolution accelerate damage output, while aristocrat payoffs such as Dina, Soul Steeper and Blood Artist punish opponents whenever creatures trade off. The deck closes games around Turn 7 via massive combat swings backed by Blossoming Bogbeast or Beastmaster Ascension, simultaneously draining life totals through sacrifice outlets.
