Deck overview

This is a Simic X-spell and +1/+1 counter deck helmed by Zimone, Infinite Analyst, whose cost-reduction engine grows with every X-cost spell you cast. The primary plan is to ramp early, deploy Zimone, then chain X-cost spells - each one putting two counters on her and making the next one cheaper - while Unbound Flourishing and a dense stack of counter doublers (Hardened Scales, Ozolith, the Shattered Spire, The Earth Crystal, Kami of Whispered Hopes) amplify every hydra and payoff. The deck wins through Finale of Devastation overrun, a massive Walking Ballista, Mathemagics decking an opponent, or simply combat with enormous hydras like Primordial Hydra and Primo, the Unbounded. It is a value-and-inevitability deck rather than a combo deck, leaning on Zimone's discount to make its big spells affordable.
