Format: Commander

Commander: Admiral Beckett Brass

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Admiral Beckett Brass leads a Grixis Pirate swarm that wins through combat damage and theft. The primary plan is to deploy cheap Pirates, pump them with Brass and other lords, and attack with three or more Pirates each turn so Brass's end-step trigger steals the best permanent from a damaged opponent. Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator is the hidden commander in the 99; with Breeches, Brazen Plunderer he turns Pirate damage into Treasures and card advantage, powering a Port Razer extra-combat kill or a deterministic Glint-Horn Buccaneer + Malcolm loop. Recursion from Admiral Brass, Unsinkable and Angrath rebuilds after wipes, while counterspells and spot removal protect key turns.
