Deck overview

This deck is a Jund -1/-1 counter and aristocrats combo engine led by Auntie Ool, Cursewretch. The strategy leverages counter placement as both an asymmetric board control tool and a massive card-drawing engine. While Auntie Ool penalizes opponents with life loss and fuels your hand when counters are distributed, the deck's primary victory conditions revolve around compact infinite combos. The fastest line utilizes Witherbloom Apprentice combined with Chain of Smog to execute an infinite Magecraft drain loop on Turn 4. Alternatively, redundant persist loops utilizing Murderous Redcap or Putrid Goblin alongside +1/+1 counter enablers like Grumgully, the Generous and sacrifice outlets such as Goblin Bombardment or Altar of Dementia provide reliable instant-win redundancy. With dense early ramp, versatile tutors, and heavy board attrition via Necroskitter and Carnifex Demon, the deck smoothly transitions between crushing creature control and immediate game-ending combo finishes.
