Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov political punisher deck led by Shadrix Silverquill. It accelerates using white catch-up land ramp such as Archaeomancer's Map and Claim Jumper, combined with bounce lands like Karoo and Guildless Commons that intentionally keep your land count lower than opponents. The deck then deploys symmetrical draw effects such as Secret Rendezvous, Cut a Deal, and Loran of the Third Path. Rather than helping opponents for free, it weaponizes this extra card draw with punishing permanents including Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, Underworld Dreams, Fate Unraveler, and Scrawling Crawler. While draining opposing life totals, the deck amasses 2/1 flying Inkling tokens and grows Shadrix into a lethal double-striking threat. High-efficiency Orzhov spot removal and flexible sweepers like Crux of Fate keep opposing threats in check until Akroma's Will or a large Blot Out the Sky seals victory around Turn 8.
