Deck overview

This Mono-White Voltron deck is commanded by Cloud, Midgar Mercenary, who fetches an Equipment card upon entering the battlefield and doubles all triggered abilities of himself and attached Equipment. The strategy uses cost-reducers and equip-cheat enablers like Sigarda's Aid, Puresteel Paladin, and Forge Anew to quickly assemble swords on Cloud. Once equipped with Sword of Hearth and Home, Sword of Feast and Famine, or Buster Sword, Cloud generates massive card advantage, ramp, and disruption on every attack step. The deck protects its primary attacker using premier defensive spells like Teferi's Protection, Clever Concealment, and Robe of Stars, while stax pieces like Rule of Law and Aura of Silence slow opposing combo strategies. The deck applies lethal commander damage to eliminate opponents sequentially.
