Bears by iBori

Format: Commander

Commander: Beorn the Fierce

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This mono-green deck floods the battlefield with Bears, changelings, and Bear tokens, leaning on Beorn the Fierce as its lord and card-draw trigger. The primary plan is a critical-mass combat kill: ramp into Beorn, maintain three or more Bears to draw two each combat, then crack in with trampling 4/4s boosted by Unnatural Growth and Become the Avalanche. Secondary paths include token generation from Bearscape and Grizzly Fate, an alternate pump engine around Ayula, Queen Among Bears, and a punch-out from creatures like Titania, Gaea Incarnate and Gigantic Big Bear. The deck can also rebuild after wipes through graveyard token makers. No double-faced commander exists; Ayula is the closest thing to a hidden commander in the 99.
