Deck overview

This deck is an optimized Esper tempo and reanimator strategy commanded by Raffine, Scheming Seer. The game plan revolves around deploying low-cost, evasive creatures during the early turns, establishing Raffine on Turn 3, and immediately converting attack steps into explosive card selection and power growth via the Connive mechanic. By discarding high-cost game-ending threats such as Archon of Cruelty, Archfiend of Ifnir, and Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, the deck seamlessly transitions into efficient reanimation lines using spells like Reanimate and Animate Dead. Simultaneously, token producers like Adeline, Resplendent Cathar and Ainok Strike Leader supercharge Raffine's Connive counts, creating massive flying attackers while digging for protective countermagic and removal. The deck locks down opponents using asymmetric disruption like Voice of Victory and Dauthi Voidwalker, eventually crushing the table under overwhelming combat damage and drain triggers by Turn 6.
