Deck overview

This Golgari deck leverages Baba Lysaga, Night Witch to convert multi-type permanents and Food tokens into overwhelming card advantage and steady life drain. By utilizing artifact lands, artifact creatures like Tough Cookie, and hybrid cards like Liquimetal Torque, the deck reliably activates Baba Lysaga on Turn 4 to draw three cards each turn cycle. The midgame transitions into an aristocrats drain engine powered by Mirkwood Bats, Camellia, the Seedmiser, and Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest, or high-impact threats like Ygra, Eater of All. Lacking infinite combos or fast-mana acceleration, the deck relies on compounding board presence and resilient recursion to grind down all three opponents over multiple turn cycles. Its main vulnerabilities stem from reliance on creatures surviving on board and a relatively light suite of instant-speed reactive interaction.
