Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul Landfall strategy piloted by Tannuk, Memorial Ensign. It accelerates mana through dense 1-mana and 2-mana ramp spells, exploration effects, and fetchlands. Tannuk acts as both a continuous burn engine and a card-draw outlet, rewarding multiple land drops each turn. The deck's primary victory route is a compact infinite Landfall loop using Ashaya, Soul of the Wild and Quirion Ranger, which deals unbounded noncombat damage through Tannuk in a single turn. Backup win conditions include explosive Scapeshift resolutions with Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle, massive token armies via Scute Swarm, Field of the Dead, and Avenger of Zendikar, or wide burn with Omnath, Locus of Rage.
