Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos spellslinger reanimator strategy piloted by Magar of the Magic Strings. The game plan uses early rummaging spells to filter massive, high-impact instants and sorceries into the graveyard. Magar is cast on curve to reanimate these game-ending spells as face-down 3/3 creatures for three mana. By granting these puppets haste or unblockable evasion through cards like Anger, Bedlam, Lightning Greaves, and Filth, the deck connects in combat to repeatedly cast format-warping spells for free, such as Breach the Multiverse, In Garruk's Wake, Plague Wind, and Blood for the Blood God!. The engine generates immense card advantage, clears opposing boards asymmetrically, and overwhelms the table with token armies and stolen creatures. While vulnerable to early graveyard exile and targeted creature removal, the deck boasts exceptional functional redundancy and explosive mid-game lethality once its combat engine connects.
