Deck overview

This mono-red deck is built around Jaws, Relentless Predator, turning combat damage into an explosive artifact burn engine. Fast mana rocks and rituals accelerate Jaws onto the battlefield on Turn 4. Thanks to native haste and trample, Jaws attacks immediately to generate five or more Blood tokens. The deck then converts these noncreature artifacts into direct table-wide damage using sacrifice outlets like Krark-Clan Ironworks, Arcbound Ravager, and Crime Novelist, or via Jaws's own triggered ability. Damage multipliers including Fiery Emancipation, Solphim, Mayhem Dominus, and Ojer Axonil, Deepest Might scale this noncombat damage to lethal levels within two combat cycles. The deck protects its commander using efficient redirection spells such as Deflecting Swat and Bolt Bend, while equipment like Commander's Plate ensures Jaws connects through opposing defenses to close games around Turn 6.
