Deck overview

This deck is a four-color token-control strategy centered on Jace, Multiverse Architect as a repeatable Polymorph engine in the command zone. The deck eschews low-impact creatures in favor of generating cheap creature tokens through enchantments like Skrelv's Hive and Dreadhorde Invasion, instant token-makers like Secure the Wastes, and utility artifacts like Staff of the Storyteller. Once a token is on the battlefield, casting Jace on curve allows an immediate activation of his minus-three loyalty ability, exiling a disposable token to cheat a game-warping bomb—such as Archon of Cruelty, The Ur-Sphinx, Archfiend of Despair, or Serra's Emissary—directly onto the battlefield. Backed by explosive mass-transformation sorceries like Mass Polymorph and Synthetic Destiny, the deck swiftly transitions from board control to an overwhelming aerial beatdown clock. Dense artifact acceleration ensures reliable mana fixing across four colors, while sweeping removal keeps opposing boards in check until lethal combat damage closes the game.
