Deck overview

This deck is a mono-white Angel tribal and lifegain midrange list commanded by Giada, Font of Hope. The primary game plan revolves around casting Giada on Turn 2 to serve as both an early ramp source and a scaling counter engine for subsequent Angel spells. As flying threats curve out on Turns 3 through 5, synergistic payoffs like Righteous Valkyrie, Bishop of Wings, Lyra Dawnbringer, and Archangel of Thune rapidly amplify life totals and team-wide power. The deck achieves a critical must-answer board state by Turn 5, threatening lethal aerial combat damage across the table over the following three turns. While the list excels at aggressive board presence, evasive combat, and efficient spot removal, it relies heavily on permanent-based board presence without hard combo finishes. As a result, it is vulnerable to mass exile sweepers and top-deck variance due to a low density of tutors and burst card draw.
