Deck overview

Tiamat is the tutor engine of a five-color Dragon toolbox. The primary plan is to ramp into Tiamat, whose ETB finds five different Dragons, then chain those Dragons with cost reducers, haste, and copy effects. Secondary lines use Dracogenesis, Hellkite Courser, Sarkhan, Dragonsoul's ultimate, and The Ur-Dragon's attack trigger to cheat permanents into play. Miirym is the force multiplier; The Ur-Dragon functions as the deck's hidden-value engine behind Tiamat. There is no formal hidden commander-Tiamat determines the game plan. The typical finish is overwhelming flying combat, with Skithiryx offering an alternate infect route and Deathbringer Regent/Dragonlord Silumgar providing toolbox control.
