Deck overview

This deck is a Temur Dragon tribal stompy strategy commanded by Ureni of the Unwritten. The game plan focuses on rapid early mana acceleration through low-cost artifacts and cost-reducing shamans to cast Ureni ahead of curve on Turn 5. Upon entering the battlefield and attacking, Ureni looks at the top eight cards of the library to cheat high-impact Dragons directly into play. Heavy hitters such as Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, Atarka, World Render, Lathliss, Dragon Queen, and Terror of Mount Velus rapidly multiply combat damage and flood the battlefield with massive evasive threats. Evasion and damage-doubling effects allow the deck to eliminate opponents across two combat rounds following deployment. The deck supports this aggressive game plan with efficient countermagic like Silumgar's Scorn and An Offer You Can't Refuse, alongside versatile removal to answer opposing threats. While vulnerable to early sweeper spells, the density of standalone Dragon threats provides resilient recovery.
