Deck overview

This deck is a Temur midrange and aggressive Voltron strategy built around Eshki Dragonclaw. The primary game plan revolves around casting both a creature spell and a noncreature spell each turn to trigger Eshki's flurry ability, growing the commander with +1/+1 counters while drawing extra cards every combat step. A dense suite of adventure cards, self-bouncing enchantments like Mark of Fury and Shimmering Wings, and low-cost utility creatures ensures consistent dual-spell turns starting on turn 4. Once Eshki grows into a massive trampling threat by turn 5, the deck leverages extra combat steps from Karlach, Fury of Avernus, Overpowering Attack, and Relentless Assault, or wipes opposing boards with Chandra's Ignition to close out games across turns 5 to 7. Built-in ward and cheap interactive protection spells like Snakeskin Veil and Slip Out the Back safeguard the commander, while versatile bounce and removal disrupt opposing strategies.
