Deck overview

Tidus, Yuna's Guardian leads a Bant +1/+1 counters and proliferation deck designed to build a wide, resilient combat board. The deck establishes early board presence with modified creatures like Shelinda, Yevon Acolyte and Gyre Sage, deploying Tidus on Turn 3 or 4 to trigger immediate counter manipulation, card draw, and proliferation. In the mid-game, counter multipliers such as Branching Evolution, Doubling Season, and Innkeeper's Talent rapidly escalate creature stats. Evasion enablers including Herald of Secret Streams, Duskshell Crawler, and Kodama of the West Tree convert raw stats into lethal damage across consecutive combats. The list also features alternate win routes in Simic Ascendancy and asymmetric board wipes like Damning Verdict. While vulnerable to exile sweepers and lacking direct tutors, the deck maintains steady momentum through redundant engines and responsive defensive spells like Ripples of Potential.
