Witherbloom, the Balancer by happycatmeow34

Format: Commander

Commander: Witherbloom, the Balancer

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Golgari token-swarm deck built around Witherbloom, the Balancer, using its affinity-for-creatures cost reduction to deploy spells cheaply while flooding the battlefield with 1/1 tokens and mana dorks. The primary plan is to amass a wide creature base - often exceeding a dozen bodies - then finish via Overwhelming Stampede, Beastmaster Ascension, or March of the World Ooze. An alternate win condition, Epic Struggle, rewards the same overcrowded board state. The commander itself is a flying deathtouch beater that makes each instant and sorcery cheaper, accelerating token generation and card draw. The deck leans heavily on redundancy rather than tutors, using high card counts in its two core roles (mana dorks and token makers) to consistently execute its game plan across a four-player pod.
