Commander: Felothar the Steadfast

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Felothar the Steadfast leads an Abzan toughness-matters deck that turns high-toughness defenders into lethal attackers and massive card advantage. The deck quickly builds a defensive board using low-cost Walls that generate mana and draw cards. Once Felothar or redundant effects like Assault Formation and Bedrock Tortoise are in play, your high-toughness creatures swing for heavy combat damage. Evasion pieces like Sidar Kondo of Jamuraa and MacCready, Lamplight Mayor ensure low-power attackers bypass opposing blockers. The deck finishes games through wide combat pushes boosted by Tower Defense, direct life drains from Jaws of Defeat and Blight Pile, or life total exchanges with Tree of Perdition.
