Deck overview

This deck is a mono-red Dragon tribal engine led by Ganax, Astral Hunter and the Background Dragon Cultist. The strategy focuses on accelerating into early mana cost reducers and rocks, casting Ganax on Turn 4, and utilizing the steady stream of Treasure tokens produced whenever Dragons enter the battlefield. These Treasures fund high-cost aerial bombs such as Lathliss, Dragon Queen, Scourge of the Throne, and Skyline Despot. Asymmetric ground sweepers like Draconic Intervention and Desolation of Smaug keep opposing boards clear while leaving your Dragons intact. Damage multipliers like Dragon Tempest, Crucible of Fire, and extra combat phases from Hellkite Charger rapidly turn aerial dominance into a closing clock around Turn 8. While the deck boasts immense mana acceleration and combat power, its main limitations stem from a lack of stack interaction, vulnerability to mass exile sweepers, and absence of enchantment removal.
