Format: Commander

Commander: Eluge, the Shoreless Sea

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Eluge, the Shoreless Sea is a draw-go control engine that turns Islands into deep discounts on the first instant or sorcery each turn. The deck plans to land Eluge on turn three or four, stack flood counters, and use cheap draw spells to churn into token producers such as Talrand, Murmuring Mystic, Metallurgic Summonings, and Shark Typhoon. Counterspells protect the plan and keep opponent threats off the board, while High Tide and Peregrine Drake give one-turn mana bursts for large X-spells. The final board usually wins with flying tokens, a growing Eluge, or Psychosis Crawler draining after a big draw. There is no true infinite mana loop, so most wins are gradual instead of explosive.
