Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet spellslinger engine commanded by Vivi Ornitier. Vivi transforms every noncreature spell into permanent +1/+1 counters, burns all opponents simultaneously, and generates burst mana equal to its power once per turn. The deck accelerates in the opening turns with efficient mana rocks and cost-reducers like Stormcatch Mentor before deploying Vivi on Turn 3. On Turns 4 and 5, attaching damage-based draw auras such as Curiosity or Ophidian Eye to Vivi creates a massive card advantage engine, drawing three cards per spell cast. This card flow sustains long spell chains, growing Vivi, producing huge mana bursts, and dealing heavy burn damage across the table. The game concludes on Turn 6 through overwhelming burn, flying tokens from Manaform Hellkite, or by assembling the infinite damage combo between Niv-Mizzet, Parun and Curiosity. Dense interaction keeps opposing threats in check throughout execution.
