Format: Commander

Commander: Meren of Clan Nel Toth

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Meren of Clan Nel Toth leads a Golgari sacrifice-and-recursion engine that fills its graveyard, accrues experience counters, and reanimates high-value threats. The primary plan is incremental value through death triggers and Meren's repeatable reanimation, with a secondary one-shot finish using Jumbo Cactuar and Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord. The deck can also win through persistent drain effects like Blood Artist and Zulaport Cutthroat. A hidden commander is not present; rather, Jarad and the Cactuar form a visible combo, while engines like Dina, Glissa, and Bolas's Citadel provide depth.
