Deck overview

This deck is a four-color Landfall midrange build centered on Nissa, Leyline Tamer. Operating without green, it relies on artifact ramp, land droppers, and fetchlands to generate mana and reach its 7-mana commander. Once Nissa resolves, every land entering draws a card, and the first landfall each turn cheats a creature directly onto the battlefield. The deck converts this steady resource stream into victory through scaling token generation, direct burn triggers, and multi-combat finishers like Moraug, Fury of Akoum. It also features an incidental infinite landfall loop between Retreat to Coralhelm and Ruin Ghost. While the deck boasts immense late-game value generation and strong recovery through permanent recursion, it is held back by the absence of dedicated protection spells, a low count of instant-speed interaction, and reliance on creature-based combat to close out games.
