Deck overview

This deck is a Jeskai aggro-midrange strategy centered on +1/+1 counters, keyword distribution, and combat pressure led by Optimus Prime, Hero // Optimus Prime, Autobot Leader. The deck deploys early counter-synergy creatures such as Generous Pup, Denry Klin, Editor in Chief, and Metastatic Evangel, establishing a solid base of modified threats. Casting Optimus Prime via its More Than Meets the Eye alternate cost allows it to enter immediately as an attacking 6/8 Vehicle creature that bolsters your lowest-toughness creature by two counters and grants trample. Once converted into its Hero side, Optimus Prime bolsters every end step, growing your board on all four player turns. Keyword enablers like Abzan Falconer, Odric, Lunarch Marshal, and Blast-Furnace Hellkite convert this accumulated power into lethal, evasive combat damage. Resilient protection spells such as Ripples of Potential and Optimus Prime's built-in death conversion ensure the engine survives opposing sweepers to close out the game over multiple combat steps.
