cheap reach by nemis

Format: Commander

Commander: Tadeas, Juniper Ascendant

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Tadeas, Juniper Ascendant is the sole commander-no hidden commander-and the deck is a GW toughness-matters aggro plan. It fills the board with cheap reach creatures-spiders and archers that have low power and high toughness-then uses Assault Formation, Huatli, Bedrock Tortoise, and Rasaad to assign combat damage from toughness. Tadeas untaps each attacking reach creature, lets them ignore greater-power blockers, and draws a card for every opponent hit. The deck spreads attacks across the table to fuel draw, then finishes with toughness pump instants or Baldin's hand-size overrun. Secondary path: pump Tadeas and close with 21 commander damage.
