Tough Treefolks by demaej22

Format: Commander

Commander: Doran, Besieged by Time and Doran, the Siege Tower

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Doran deck transforms high-toughness creatures into lethal beaters, using both the front face for cost reduction and card flow, and that the back face to assign damage as toughness. The plan is to establish toughness-matters synergies early, then power through combat damage. The strategy folds without its commander, but strong staxlike pieces like Meekstone help. No infinite combos exist; the deck wins via incremental damage, toughness engines, and occasional burst from Betor, Kin to All. Removal is mostly at sorcery speed, and the deck lacks counterspells.
