All the Mikus

Format: Commander

Commander: Child of Alara

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a five-color Angel midrange deck helmed by Child of Alara, leveraging a dense lifegain and Angel-tribal core rather than the commander as its engine. The primary plan develops efficient Angel threats-Giada, Font of Hope, Lyra Dawnbringer, Righteous Valkyrie, Gisela, Blade of Goldnight, and Aurelia, the Warleader-backed by premium card advantage (Rhystic Study, Mystic Remora, Sylvan Library, The One Ring) and a heavy free-interaction suite. Lifegain payoffs (Archangel of Thune, Bishop of Wings, Angel of Destiny, Trostani, Selesnya's Voice) snowball board presence and unlock alternate wins, while Halo Fountain and Finale of Devastation provide non-combat finishes. Child of Alara itself is a recastable 6/6 trample body whose death trigger nukes all nonland permanents, functioning as a panic button and political deterrent rather than a required piece. The deck wins through overwhelming combat, life-threshold locks, and well-timed board resets.
