Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Izzet spellslinger strategy led by Mizzix of the Izmagnus. The primary game plan revolves around deploying Mizzix on Turn 3 or 4, rapidly accumulating experience counters through a curve of cheap instants and sorceries, and leveraging massive generic cost reduction to cast gigantic X-cost card draw and burn spells. Synergies like Harmonic Prodigy and Veyran, Voice of Duality accelerate counter generation, while Storm-Kiln Artist and Mana Geyser generate the colored mana required to fuel explosive turns. The deck finishes games on Turn 6 by casting decisive multi-target finishers like Crackle with Power or Jaya's Immolating Inferno, dealing lethal damage to all opponents at once. Because experience counters stay on the player, the deck recovers swiftly from commander removal, maintaining relentless pressure through deep card flow.
