New Untitled Deck by Cabby555

Format: Commander

Commander: Kros, Defense Contractor

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Kros, Defense Contractor is a Bant political-control commander who rewards every counter you place on opponents' creatures with a tap-and-goad effect. The deck is built around proliferate, +1/+1 counters, and tap synergies: Kros's upkeep shield counter plus proliferate effects keep the table's best creatures attacking each other instead of you, while Hylda of the Icy Crown, Brokers Ascendancy, Branching Evolution, and Primal Vigor convert all that countering into a growing army. Card advantage comes from Ezuri, Stalker of Spheres, Generous Patron, and Verity Circle. Wins typically arrive through a huge unblockable Kang Dynasty or Rogue's Passage swing, or the Gyre Sage plus Staff of Domination infinite-mana loop into drawn cards and endless Hylda tokens. This is a slow, grindy value deck rather than a fast all-in combo deck.
