Deck overview

This deck is a Boros Equipment aggro strategy commanded by Akiri, Fearless Voyager. The primary plan develops efficient creature threats and equipment enablers in the early turns, establishing combat-driven card draw and built-in indestructible protection with Akiri. The deck bypasses hefty equip costs through free-attachment engines such as Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist, Puresteel Paladin, Bruenor Battlehammer, and Sigarda's Aid. It rapidly scales its damage output by attaching high-impact equipment like Colossus Hammer, Kaldra Compleat, and Embercleave to double-striking threats like Reyav, Master Smith and Balan, Wandering Knight. A robust tutor suite headlined by Stoneforge Mystic and Sunforger provides consistent access to key weapons and instant-speed utility. The deck protects its attackers through Akiri's ability, Flawless Maneuver, and Akroma's Will, sequentially eliminating opponents through heavy combat damage between Turns 5 and 7.
