Deck overview

This deck is a five-color Dragon tribal stompy build commanded by The Ur-Dragon. The game plan revolves around leveraging the commander's eminence ability alongside mana rocks, land ramp, and cost reducers like Urza's Incubator and Dragonspeaker Shaman to accelerate past the steep mana costs of premier Dragons. By Turn 4, the deck deploys key engine pieces such as Temur Ascendancy, Dragon Tempest, or Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm. On Turn 5, it transitions into critical onset by swinging with massive flying threats like Atarka, World Render, Utvara Hellkite, or Hellkite Courser to trigger The Ur-Dragon. The combination of haste enablers, token multiplication, and direct burn from Terror of the Peaks rapidly overwhelms life totals across two opponent turn cycles. While vulnerable to early aggressive combo decks and exile-based board wipes, the deck maintains resilience through high threat density and strong graveyard recursion.
