Commander: The Beamtown Bullies

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The Beamtown Bullies is a Jund "donate the worst card in Magic" deck. The entire game plan is to fill the graveyard with creatures whose downside is catastrophic, then use the Bullies' activated ability on opponents' turns to hand those creatures over - goaded and hasty - to the wrong controller. Leveler exiles their entire library, Eater of Days makes them skip two turns, Soulgorger Orgg drops them to 1 life, and Ulamog's Crusher's annihilator forces sacrifices. The primary kill is Leveler (opponent loses at their next draw step), with a faster backup in Flayer of the Hatebound pinging a 1-life opponent on the turn they receive Soulgorger Orgg. The deck leans on a thick self-mill and entomb-style tutor package - Buried Alive, Dina's Guidance, Lively Dirge, Grisly Salvage - to stock the yard. It is a one-trick, high-synergy deck that lives and dies by its commander's tap ability.
