Deck overview

The deck uses Queen Kayla bin-Kroog to turn a hand refresh into a battlefield rebuild. The central damage plan is to keep Glint-Horn Buccaneer in play, then activate the commander with a large hand so every discarded card deals damage to all three opponents. Anger in the graveyard and a controlled Mountain give the commander haste, while the commander's mana-value 1, 2, and 3 returns rebuild a useful board. The list also supports the plan with wheel effects, discard payoffs such as Magmakin Artillerist and Monument to Endurance, and creature protection from Mother of Runes and Giver of Runes. Its main limitations are narrow access, a slow table-kill clock, and heavy exposure to creature removal and sweepers. The spell-restriction cards can buy time, but they are symmetrical and do not create a true lock. The deck is best played as a value-oriented midrange deck that converts repeated discard into pressure rather than as a fast combo deck.
