Sauron - Army by Tom_carr

Format: Commander

Commander: Sauron, the Dark Lord

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Sauron, the Dark Lord leads a midrange amass and Ring-tempts deck. The commander is a draw engine: each Ring temptation can discard the hand and draw four, while opponent spells grow an Orc Army. The primary plan is to cast Sauron, trigger Ring tempts with Call of the Ring, Nazgul, and Army attacks, then convert that card advantage into a Wraith swarm led by Lord of the Nazgul. Secondary paths include Sauron, the Necromancer recursion, Smaug treasure bursts, and Mordor on the March storm tokens. The hidden commander is Lord of the Nazgul, since nine Nazgul and many instants and sorceries make Wraiths the real finisher.
