Deck overview

Mishra, Claimed by Gix commands a high-velocity Rakdos aggro deck that converts wide creature boards into direct life drain. The deck curves aggressively on turns 1–3 with self-replicating token engines such as Bitterblossom, Goblin Rabblemaster, and Loyal Apprentice before deploying Mishra on turn 4. Because Mishra triggers on attack declaration, it drains all opponents simultaneously and bypasses blockers, pillowfort locks, and combat damage restrictions. Damage multipliers like Hellrider, Calculating Lich, and Karlach, Fury of Avernus double down on this life-loss clock, while Gix, Yawgmoth Praetor and Skullclamp ensure consistent hand refilling. In the mid-to-late game, unearthing Phyrexian Dragon Engine enables the devastating Mishra, Lost to Phyrexia meld for versatile modal removal and discard. The deck closes games swiftly by turn 7 through sustained, unblockable group life loss.
