Deck overview

This mono-white Soldier tribal deck, helmed by Myrel, Shield of Argive, executes a classic go-wide combat strategy. Myrel itself provides a powerful one-sided lock-opponents cannot cast spells or activate abilities of artifacts, creatures, or enchantments during your turn-protecting your combat step and token generation. The deck aims to flood the battlefield with 1/1 Soldier tokens through cards like Finale of Glory, Martial Coup, and Nomads' Assembly, then pump them with anthems (Cathars' Crusade, Coat of Arms, Vanquisher's Banner) and token doublers (Anointed Procession, Mondrak, Glory Dominus). A handful of protection spells (Teferi's Protection, Flawless Maneuver, Akroma's Will) shield the board from wipes, while the commander's static effect turns each attack into a one-sided blowout. The primary win condition is overwhelming combat damage; there are no infinite combos. The deck is straightforward, resilient in creature count, and surprisingly disruptive on its own turn.
