Deck overview

This Gruul Lands deck uses Tannuk, Memorial Ensign to transform every land drop into direct damage against all opponents while generating steady card advantage. The deck accelerates ahead of curve using low-cost land enablers like Exploration, Burgeoning, and Lotus Cobra. It fills the graveyard with lands using Life from the Loam, Wrenn and Six, and Mulch, then replays them using Ramunap Excavator, Ancient Greenwarden, and Six. The primary win route culminates on turn 5 with a massive landfall surge from Scapeshift or Aftermath Analyst, which triggers Tannuk repeatedly, creates a lethal Zombie army via Field of the Dead, and summons a 20/20 Marit Lage through Dark Depths and Thespian's Stage. The deck protects its board with Sylvan Safekeeper, Heroic Intervention, and Veil of Summer, while disrupting opponents through Boseiju, Who Endures, Strip Mine recursion, and Constant Mists.
