Deck overview

This five-color Ally tribal deck pilots Avatar Aang as its central figure, leveraging the four bending keywords-airbending, waterbending, earthbending, and firebending-to transform into Aang, Master of Elements. Once flipped, Aang slashes the cost of all spells by {W}{U}{B}{R}{G} and can re-transform each upkeep to gain 4 life, draw four cards, pump himself, and deal 4 damage to each opponent. The deck relies heavily on a critical mass of Ally creatures and Lesson spells to activate bending triggers, with the ultimate win condition being repeated back-side Aang activations, combat damage from anthemed Allies and animated lands, or an extra turn from The Legend of Kuruk flickering into Avatar Kuruk. The "waterbend, earthbend, firebend, airbend" chain to flip Aang is demanding, but once established the commander provides overwhelming card advantage and inevitability.
