Karona PreDH

Format: Commander

Commander: Karona, False God

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This five-color Dragon tribal deck aims to win through combat with large flying Dragons. It uses eleven cost reducers like Dragonspeaker Shaman, the Medallion cycle, Helm of Awakening and Urza's Incubator plus four cheat effects such as Belbe's Portal, Elvish Piper and Zirilan of the Claw to put 6-7 mana Dragons into play early. Karona, False God provides haste and a one-time +3/+3 anthem to Dragons on attack before she passes to the next player. Karrthus, Tyrant of Jund serves as the hidden commander, granting haste and stealing opposing Dragons. Secondary value comes from graveyard recursion and hand-disruption Dragons that grind advantage until the alpha strike.
