Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Golgari aristocrats/lifegain drain deck helmed by Dina, Essence Brewer. The core plan is to generate a steady stream of sacrifice fodder - Pests, Saprolings, Zombies, Snakes, and Eldrazi Spawns - then convert every death into table-wide drain and card advantage. Dina herself turns each sacrifice into a draw, while Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, Cauldron of Essence, and Enduring Tenacity convert deaths into life loss for all opponents. A deep recursion suite (Meren of Clan Nel Toth, Victimize, Veinwitch Coven, Moseo, Vein's New Dean) keeps the fodder coming back. Secondary wins come from combat - Ghalta, Primal Hunger and Blossoming Bogbeast trample swings - and from Bolas's Citadel as a top-deck engine and finisher. The deck is a slow, grindy value machine that wins through incremental attrition rather than a single explosive turn.
