Deck overview

This deck is a aggressive Gruul stompy deck led by Xenagos, God of Revels. The game plan accelerates mana on early turns to cast Xenagos on Turn 3, followed by a sequence of overwhelming creature threats starting on Turn 4. Xenagos provides immediate haste and doubles the power and toughness of attacking creatures at the beginning of each combat phase. Trampling and flying threats like Atarka, World Render, Blightsteel Colossus, and Bloodthirster quickly eliminate opponents one by one. The deck also features extra combat engines, including Karlach, Fury of Avernus, Moraug, Fury of Akoum, and an infinite combat loop with Aggravated Assault and Savage Ventmaw. While the deck possesses explosive offensive power and high commander resilience due to Xenagos's indestructible enchantment type, it runs minimal reactive interaction and relies on overwhelming combat pressure to close out the game before opponents assemble noncreature win conditions.
