Deck overview

This deck is a classic Simic Landfall midrange strategy built around Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait. It operates by using low-cost sorcery ramp to place itself multiple turns ahead of the table, landing its commander on Turn 5 to convert further land drops into massive card velocity. By Turn 6, the deck pivots into decisive board threats such as Avenger of Zendikar, Rampaging Baloths, and Bonny Pall, Clearcutter, generating wide swarms of scaling tokens. High land counts make its mana engine exceptionally resilient to conventional board wipes, allowing the deck to quickly rebuild if answered. While it lacks fast combo finishes, stax locks, and tutor density, it compensates through overwhelming card advantage, asymmetric mass bounce via Scourge of Fleets and Spectral Deluge, and relentless creature pressure that closes games cleanly by Turn 8.
