Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Aristocrats strategy that uses Sauron, the Dark Lord as both a continuous token generator and a powerful card-advantage engine. The early turns focus on deploying mana rocks and low-cost setup pieces. Once Sauron enters the battlefield, opponents are punished for casting spells because each spell grows your Orc Army. When your Army connects in combat, the Ring tempts you, allowing you to discard depleted hands and draw four fresh cards. This card velocity quickly digs into your core Aristocrat win conditions, including Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, and Marionette Apprentice. The deck can win through steady attrition or by assembling sacrifice loops using Warren Soultrader and Gravecrawler.
