Paradox Power by Lorq

Format: Commander

Commander: The Thirteenth Doctor and Yasmin Khan

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a Temur "cast from anywhere other than your hand" value engine built around the Doctor's companion pair of The Thirteenth Doctor and Yasmin Khan. Yasmin Khan repeatedly exiles the top card and lets you play it, while The Thirteenth Doctor turns every non-hand cast into a +1/+1 counter and then untaps every countered creature at end of turn. The 99 is a dense package of foretell, rebound, cascade, retrace, flashback, and escape effects-Surge of Brilliance, Into the Time Vortex, Throes of Chaos, and Return the Past-that lets the deck chain multiple non-hand spells per turn. Payoffs include exponential counters on Sisterhood of Karn, tokens and battle cry from Iraxxa, Empress of Mars, pings and hand disruption from Memory Worm, and a big finishing combat with Last Night Together or an extra turn from Twice Upon a Time. There are no true infinite combos; the deck wins through overwhelming value, counters, and combat inevitability.
