Kiora Sea Monsters... by Raysen

Format: Commander

Commander: Kiora, Sovereign of the Deep

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Simic big-mana sea-monster deck built around Kiora, Sovereign of the Deep. The plan is to accelerate into 6+ mana, cast Kiora, then chain oversized Krakens, Leviathans, Octopuses, and Serpents. Every qualifying creature cast from hand digs through the top of the library and free-casts a cheaper spell, while Imoti, Celebrant of Bounty adds cascade and Monstrous Vortex adds discover triggers to turn one big spell into a small avalanche of value. The deck finishes through combat rather than a compact infinite combo. Koma, World-Eater, Spawning Kraken, and both Komas provide enormous bodies and token armies, while Serpent of Yawning Depths and Stormtide Leviathan make the sea monsters difficult or impossible to block. Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait and Tatyova, Benthic Druid act as backup draw engines if Kiora is repeatedly answered. This is a value-beatdown deck with a slow but powerful engine and high card-quality density.
