Deck overview

This Jeskai spellslinger deck, helmed by Narset, Enlightened Exile, is built to generate overwhelming value through a dense suite of instants and sorceries. The primary game plan is to deploy early token generators (Monastery Mentor, Young Pyromancer, Third Path Iconoclast, Kykar, Wind's Fury) and draw engines (Archmage Emeritus, Esper Sentinel), then cast Narset and use her attack trigger to copy powerful spells from graveyards for free. The deck can win through combat damage by pumping a wide token army with Akroma's Will, Boros Charm, or Haze of Rage, or through a storm-based combo using Underworld Breach and Brain Freeze to mill opponents out. Jeskai Ascendancy provides a repeatable looting and untapping engine that supercharges the turn.
