Deck overview

This Abzan Treefolk deck is built around Doran, the Siege Tower: every high-toughness creature becomes a real attacker, and the commander's five toughness makes him a cheap resilient beater. The primary plan is to ramp into a wide board of Treefolk and Plants, then convert their toughness into lethal combat damage each turn. Doran, Besieged by Time acts as a hidden second commander, discounting tough spells and pumping every attacker. Secondary paths are toughness-matters drain and life exchange: Betor halves life totals once toughness is huge, Tree of Perdition drops one player to 13, and Jaws of Defeat pings from toughness gaps. Timber Protector and Ready//Willing protect the alpha strike.
